Our most-traveled? One of us has visited 50 U.S. States or Territories, and another has visited 60 foreign countries.
6 of us have birthdays this month, and 6 of us have birthdays in October.
Currently, 43 of us are retired.

I had just emailed Susan Oxenrider yesterday to ask if she knew where Wendy was. So sad to hear that she has passed away. We became friends during our senior year. |

We are so sad to hear Wendy has passed on. I remember her smile and passing her in the hall and in class.Our condolences to Brenda(her sister) and Mike McLean. I have added the obituary below as forwared by Mike:

Yankton- Winnona “Wendy” Mast, age 57, formerly of Sioux Falls died on Monday, May 25, 2009 at her home in Yankton.
Winnona Deann “Wendy” Kirtland was born on Wednesday, May 7, 1952 in Fort Eustis Virginia to Lt. Jack and Martha Ann (Crouch) Kirtland. She received her education in Virginia. On November 22, 1974 she was united in marriage to Philip Mast, the couple later made their home in Sioux Falls. Wendy was a stay at home mom raising one son, Robert and two daughters, Christa and Candice. In 2003 Wendy moved to Yankton, South Dakota.
Wendy loved animals having a Dachshund named Taz, and two cats; she had a special bond being very close with her sister, Brenda, but above all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson Riley James Cero. Wendy filled her life with her loves, babies, all of her children’s friends, her pets and with a special soft spot in her heart for single mothers and their babies.
Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Robert Mast of Springfield, SD; two daughters, Christa (James) Cero of Sioux Falls, SD, and Candice (Justin) Lockwood of Tea, SD; one grandson, Riley James Cero of Sioux Falls; father, Col. Jack Kirtland (Ret.) of Williamsburg, VA; sister, Brenda (Mike) McLean of Newport News, VA; brother, Jack Jr. Kirtland of Newport News, VA; and ex-husband Philip Mast of Corson, SD; special friends, Hilary & Bridget Hanisch and Staci & Stormy Hoebelheinrich.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Ann Crouch. |
